JOB TITLE: Automated/CNC Operator
FULL TIME: Full Time (40+ hrs. /week)
HOURLY RATE: $13.50/hour + weekly bonus ($ 3.00+)
REPORTS: Upholstery Supervisor
JOB PURPOSE:
Cartouche brand Upholstery is a world leader in restoration upholstery for antique and classic Fords. Come join our talented team serving the auto restoration hobby. This position is responsible to efficiently perform all tasks related to upholstery operations in a safe and professional manner. The position is responsible for providing accurate paperwork and record keeping. The candidate must have the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and comprehend work flow process as well as following all company rules and policies. The associate may be asked to perform multiple tasks at different times within the warehouse/distribution environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Some or all of the below duties may apply in varying degrees to the specific open position. Associate will cross train and/or work in any function within warehouse as needed to meet business demands.
· Operation of an Eastman M9000 static fabric cutting machine
· Maintaining machine calibration to ensure accurate cuts
· Daily maintenance of machine
· Maintain consumables inventory
· Programming cut files for the cut library
· Creating/digitizing new patterns using CAD software
· Making corrections/adjustments to files as needed
· Maintaining the file library in an orderly fashion
· Process improvement
· Tagging fabric rolls consistently for inventory and identification
· Maintain/organize “cut” material orders
· Storing fabrics in proper places
· Keeping area clean
· Able to neatly package finished products for shipping to customers.
Requirements/Other Skills/Abilities
· Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
· Experience with CAD software is desired.
· Able to read rulers/tape measure accurately.
· Desire to be part of a team.
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Proficient in basic math and US standard measuring system.
· Has basic understanding and is able to use sound judgment to read and interpret documents.
· Knows how to safely and proficiently use basic hand tools.
· Must be able to communicate with team members effectively.
· Has the ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Work Environment: Job will be primarily located in an upholstery room in a commercial climate controlled warehouse environment. There will be some tasks performed in the warehouse environment which may involve lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, stocking shelves, general cleaning and organizing.
